    • Target group Graduates of a first professionally qualifying degree in the disciplines of Economics, Law and Technology as well as inter-disciplinary courses. Graduates should furthermore demonstrate an interest in Project Planning and the management of renewable Energy concepts. A further focus is on the field of Sustainability of Energy Generation.

    • Section 3 Admission to the Master's course
      (1) The admission requirements are determined by the Admissions Office at the University of Applied Sciences. For this purpose, it regularly obtains the expert opinion of the head of the Green Energy degree course on the fulfilment of the admission requirements according to paragraph 2.
      (2) For admission to the Master's course, applicants must fulfil the following requirements:
      a) Successful completion of a first professionally qualifying degree (Bachelor's or Diplom degree with a final grade of at least 2.5 or Staatsexamen with the grade of satisfactory or better) and
      b) These previous studies must have come from the disciplines of Technology, Economics or Law. Also possible is a previous inter-disciplinary degree which mainly includes at least one of the aforementioned disciplines and
      c) if the applicant does not have a German-speaking school leaving qualification which constitutes qualification for admission to higher education entrance qualification, proof of command of German to level C1 must be provided (information at http://www.inobis.de/).
      (3) A Bachelor's degree according to paragraph 2 a) must have been completed with at least 180 credit points (ECTS).
      (4) If the applicant has more than 180 credits (ECTS) in the Bachelor's degree course, the degree course may, on application and in consultation with the Admissions Office, recognise achievements from the Bachelor's degree course for the Master's degree course, provided that
      a) the achievements from the Bachelor's degree course specified by the applicant in the application reach the Master's level of the module for which recognition is to be granted,
      b) the study objectives specified in Art. 2 are achieved,
      c) even in the case of recognition, at least 300 credits (ECTS) are achieved from the Bachelor's degree and the Master's degree,
      d) the credits to be recognised from the Bachelor's degree do not exceed 30 ECTS in the case of a Bachelor's degree with 210 ECTS and 60 ECTS in the case of a Bachelor's degree with 240 ECTS, and
      e) the application is submitted before the student has registered for the Master Green Energy examination to be recognised, but at the latest by the end of the first semester in the Master Green Energy.
      For the Master's thesis, crediting according to sentence 1 is excluded. Crediting of achievements from the Bachelor's degree only for parts of Master's modules is also excluded.
      The application for recognition of achievements from the Bachelor's degree can only be submitted by an applicant after enrolment in the Master's degree in Green Energy. A separate application form must be completed for each module to be credited in the Green Energy degree course. The application form will be handed out by the degree course in an advisory meeting on the recognition procedure.
      (5) As the students of the Master's degree course, can be graduates of Bachelor's degree in the disciplines of Technology,
      Economics or Law, they all have different prior knowledge. The basic modules serve to align the prior knowledge of the students. Upon enrolment, the Admissions Office stipulates two basic modules from three areas which the students must take.
      (6) The Admissions Office should stipulate the following basic modules:
      a) for a previous Law degree, the basic module in Business Administration and the basic module in Technology
      b) for a previous technical degree, the basic module in Business Administration and the basic module in Law,
      c) for a previous Economics degree, the basic module in Law and the basic module in Technology.
      Should uncertainty arise, especially in the case of interdisciplinary Bachelor's degrees, the Admissions Office makes the decision in consultation with the course directors
      (7) Study and examination achievements obtained at domestic or recognised foreign institutions of higher education shall be recognised if the institution of higher education can prove that there are no substantial differences between them and the achievements which they are intended to replace. Details are regulated in Art. 18 PVO.
      (8) Sections 1 to 7 correspondingly apply to graduates from international universities with degrees recognised as equivalent.
      (9) The crediting of knowledge and skills acquired outside the university is governed by Art. 51(2) of the Higher Education Act of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. According to this, competences and skills acquired outside higher education institutions are to be credited to higher education studies if their equivalence to the competences and skills to be acquired in the degree course and to be replaced is proven. A total of up to 50% of the credit points required for the course can be credited.
