Studying part-time while employed

This study option enables you to follow a course of study while you are in employment. This type of course is usually designed to be compatible with a full-time job. There are also part-time courses that can be completed while in employment. This includes many distance learning courses.

Studying part-time while employed

Part-time courses for people in employment usually take place outside normal hours, i.e. in the evenings, at weekends or in the form of intensive 'block seminars'. They usually also include virtual lectures or tutorials. However, self-study makes up the main component of the course.

It is not mandatory for your course to be linked to your job, but students' jobs are often integrated in their studies, for example through project work.
