    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Students are assigned to one of the key areas before commencing the course.
      The course is completed after passing the Laufbahnprüfung II (career track examination), consisting of an oral and written component.

      Graduates then start their service in the police force with the rank Polizeikommissar (-in) (police inspector) or Kriminalkommissar(-in) (detective superintendent).
