    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Master´s degree programmes are open to all graduates of scientific or artistic BA degree courses with at least 240 ETCS credits. For prospective students with fewer ECTS credits, a transitional offer will be made available from HBKsaar's previous Bachelor programs.
      Admissions will be decided upon by a procedure prepared by a commission of the HBKsaar. The average duration of MA studies is one year (60 ECTS credits). The maximum duration of study should not exceed two years.

    • Successful completion of an aptitude test and additionally proof
      of a Bachelor's or Diplom degree or an equivalent degree in the courses of Communication Design, Product Design, Media Art & Design or Fine Arts, gained at a German university or a university belonging to one of the signatory states of the Bologna declaration, or
      - of 1. State examination in a teacher training course, requiring academic or artistic design work in the subject of Art Education or
      - a Bachelor's or Diplom degree or an equivalent degree in a closely related degree course or
      - an equivalent degree completed at another foreign university in a closely related degree course and sufficient knowledge of German
      and proof of sufficient knowledge of German where a German higher education entrance qualification cannot be provided or, if the Bachelor's or Diplom degree was not completed at a German university.
