This degree is only as full-time.

Visual Arts, Music, Poetry, and Performance Art. The EAST bachelor's degree may be studied with the major subjects Visual Arts, Music, Poetry, or Performance Art concentrations. The focus modules are under the theme of 'Art in Context' and run throughout the degree course. In the first semester, the various artistic disciplines are introduced as part of the orientation studies; the choice of an artistic focus is then made for the second semester. The course teaches the ability to use the artistic disciplines as experimental spaces for artistic questions and to accompany social and societal change processes with artistic means.

Art in Social Space. The degree course offers a well-rounded artistic education, experiential learning, and practice-based work. During their studies, students get to know possible fields of work in the practice-related modules and implement their own artistic-social projects in selected fields of work. This gives students the opportunity to deal with different target groups, fields of application and the requirements of the world of work. They have a repertoire of actions at their disposal, but also project-based, experimental methods, in order to be able to implement projects of great topicality that are limited in time and subject matter.
