How can information technology simplify decision-making processes? As a business computer scientist, you will deal with these and similar questions. You are an expert at the interface between business administration and IT and use your technical expertise to improve your company's business processes. In the Business Informatics degree programme with vocational and academic elements, you apply your knowledge directly through regularly alternating between theory on campus and practice in a company.
Depending on the location, your course will be offered either as a degree programme with vocational and academic elements or as a dual-degree myStudium course. Both models offer you interactive learning materials and lots of other benefits. In a degree programme with vocational and academic elements, you will attend lectures on campus or virtually two days per week. In the dual myStudium at IU, you can also use our learning AI and deepen your knowledge in regularly held accompanying events.
Note: This degree course will be offered in Berlin for 7 semesters starting in April 2026. Subject to successful accreditation and government recognition. We expect the approval of the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society by the start of studies at the latest.
