    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Healthcare is a business administration degree course that specialises in the healthcare and hospital sectors. Starting from the first semester, business administration and socially relevant aspects of health care, especially hospitals, will be taught in addition to the general economic basics. In the third and fifth semesters, students can choose more intensive or further specialisations with respect to subsequent occupational fields via an elective area.

The programme is characterised by its high practical relevance. Thus, there is a 16-week practical project in a health care establishment in the fourth semester. Afterwards further theoretical knowledge will be imparted in the fifth and sixth semesters and combined with practical case studies and project work in small study groups.

The programme qualifies for administrative work in health care facilities, in particular hospitals, health insurance companies, rehabilitation clinics, nursing homes, consulting companies, pharmaceutical companies, associations and public authorities.
