    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The degree course is aimed at state-recognised educators who have completed their professional training at level 6 of the German Quality Framework and who, alongside their career and family commitments, wish to obtain (further) qualifications in social education or social work and obtain the academic degree of Bachelor of Arts.

      If you have an academic degree from the old educator training programme, we can recognise 33 credit points (ECTS).

    • Admission semester summer semester
    • - General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Fachabitur) or secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife) PLUS qualified 3-year professional training with a final grade of 2.5 or better)
      - Completion of state-recognised educator training at DQR-6 level according to the new framework curriculum (PDF, 60 KB)
      - Participation in an individual counselling interview
      - Approval of the model and the campus agreement of the YMCA University of Applied Sciences

      If the professional training was not completed according to the new curriculum, applicants can still be admitted to the degree course if they take an individual admission examination. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
