- Admission semester winter semester
- Subject-specific work placement lasting a total of 8 weeks. At least 4 weeks must be completed in the production area of the food industry. Subject-relevant, completed vocational training is credited as work placement.
  
  If the number of applicants exceeds the available places in the course, admission is regulated by a selection procedure. In addition to the grade of the higher education entrance qualification, completed vocational training courses are assessed according to their proximity to the degree course subject and the final grade according to a bonus system.
