      In the minor subject sub-course "Celtology" you will learn the Celtic languages Old Irish and Middle Welsh, which originated over a thousand years ago and - at least as far as Welsh is concerned - are still spoken in parts of Great Britain today. In addition to pure language acquisition, the analysis of medieval texts from Wales and Ireland as well as their literary-historical and cultural context and classification are part of this course.
