    • Target group The Master's degree course is aimed at junior journalists and those interested in media and communication studies as well as lateral entrants from other fields of study with at least six months of professional experience in a media-related environment.

    • A first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in which at least 210 credit points must have been earned according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

      Applicants who do not have the necessary 210 credit points (seven semesters) due to their completed Bachelor's degree course, but have 180 credit points (six semesters), can make up for the missing 30 credit points through practical vocational work. Proof of this practical vocational experience can also be provided by voluntary internships (also cumulative) or freelance work during the Bachelor's degree programme. Therefore, it does not have to be undertaken after the Bachelor's academic degree.

      The following must be submitted for the application: Graduation certificates, letter of motivation, CV and work samples or publications. Please note that proof of authorship must be provided with the work samples.
