    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Das forschungsorientierte Masterstudium Medizinische Ernährungswissenschaft verknüpft ernährungswissenschaftliches Fachwissen mit klinischen Fragestellungen. Im Studium an der Universität Hohenheim erarbeitest du dir eine fundierte Expertise in ernährungsabhängigen Erkrankungen und beschäftigst dich intensiv mit deren pathophysiologischen Ursachen, der Diagnostik, den Präventionsmöglichkeiten und den Therapieoptionen. Basierend auf diesem Wissen bist du nach erfolgreichem Abschluss dieses Studiums in der Lage, klinische Forschung zur Entwicklung ernährungstherapeutischer Strategien zu betreiben sowie Fachliteratur kritisch zu analysieren und für die Öffentlichkeit verständlich darzustellen.

    Innovative teaching and research-based learning

    The University of Hohenheim believes the combination of reseach and teaching is a prerequisite for excellent academic education.

    With the award-winning project "Humboldt reloaded," research-based learning is supported from the very beginning of the Bachelor's programs. In these projects, students work in small teams on their own research questions.

    First-semester students can also jump into research in their first week on campus with the "Get a taste of research" offer. This is only one of many programs that help students get off to a good start in Hohenheim. Subject preparatory courses, workshops, and presentation series promote the development of competences when starting studies and beyond.

    Continuing education seminars, language courses, and semesters abroad complement academic teaching and enable students to gain experience outside of their program and prepare themselves for their career.
