    • Mode of admission without admission restriction
    • Admission semester summer and winter semester
    • - Proof of a first degree obtained after a course of study lasting at least three years and equivalent to the bachelor's programme at the University of Regensburg, at a university in a subject related to the desired subject with an above-average result (overall grade at least "good")
      - Proof of German language skills at DSH-2 level or an equivalent German language test
      - If no certificate can be submitted during the application period: Proof of study and examination achievements of at least 150 credit points (certified list of all achievements to date and a provisional average grade in the subject music); then provisional admission and subsequent submission of the certificate with a grade of 2.50 or better by the end of the first study semester

      Application deadlines: 15 January of each year for the following summer semester and 15 July of each year for the following winter semester.
      Applications to the Institute for Musicology at the University Regensburg.
    • Completion of first university degree Bachelor/Bakkalaureus, Magister, Staatsexamen
      (and other qualifications, provided that they are recognised as being equivalent)

      Minimum requirements for first university degree:
      • Minimum grade: 2.50
      • Minimum number of semesters: 6 semesters
      • Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters
      • Required ECTS credits: 180
