    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Individual support for successful academic studies with social relevance: At European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), you understand law not only as a set of rules, but as a tool for solving diverse conflicts in a complex world. Early on, you learn to actively and responsibly participate in the future-oriented shaping of society. You broaden your viewpoints to include the perspective of European law, which is incorporated into all courses and is strengthened by a wealth of courses in European law.

Personal instruction aims to promote individual strengths. The Viadrina Legal Learning Centre offers support that is unique in the Brandenburg-Berlin area: In close interaction with lecturers, you will receive personal advice and tailor-made comments that help you specifically improve your examination achievements. Short communication channels and the collaborative atmosphere create optimal conditions for successful academic studies – and this is also reflected in the excellent results of the CHE ranking in terms of study organisation.

For all those who want to think outside the box of German law, Europa-Universität offers optimal conditions for a semester abroad – with 280 partner universities worldwide.

Viadrina is the only university in the Brandenburg-Berlin region that allows students to start their studies in the summer or winter semester. In addition to the classic state examination, you can also acquire the integrated Bachelor of Laws (LLB) academic degree, opening up further attractive career prospects. All students are free to enrol in the degree course: Because, from our point of view, motivation and commitment are more important for the success of a programme of study than one’s school grades, students can study law regardless of their high school diploma.
