    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The degree course can also be completed as a minor programme. The standard period of study then amounts to 7 semesters and ends with 210 ECTS.

      Career entry or Master’s degree. "Nutritional Sciences (MSc)" is offered as a consecutive Master’s degree programme.

      A special feature of the degree course is the long-term project. A team of students from different semesters work and research together on a practical problem for three semesters.

      And here’s another treat: a practical semester or a semester abroad can be incorporated. Students can therefore choose between a 6-semester or 7-semester degree programme.

      Special enrolment requirements
      Internship

      A pre-study work placement must be proven at the latest at the beginning of the fourth study semester. Duration: 8 weeks altogether.

      At least 4 weeks of pre-study work placement must be completed consecutively. The eight-week pre-study work placement should be completed before the start of the course.
      The pre-study work placement will provide basic work experience in Nutrition and Health. In particular, companies and institutions of the health and food industry as well as upstream or downstream areas may be considered as practice locations.

    • Annotation to the tuition fee No tuition fees are charged. The semester contribution is EUR 350.80. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
