      Mathematics may also be taken as a core subject and combined with one of the aforementioned subjects as a minor (except for Education Science, Latin, Musicology/Music, Political Science, Sociology, Environmental Science and Economics), or mathematics may be studied as a minor in combination with the main subjects Biology, Chemistry, Protestant Theology/Religion Geography, Art Education/Art or Physics.

      Apart from the subject-related course of study, an interdisciplinary professionalisation area is completed that, depending on the chosen career goals, comprises the core curriculum Teacher Training (IKC) or the acquisition of key competencies on the basis of the 4 Steps+ model.
