  Due to demographic change, increased health awareness and medical-technical progress, the medical technology industry has been on the upswing for years. The Federal Government has already declared the health sciences to be a key technology for Germany and identified them as the growth engine of the future.
  
  The implementation of innovative ideas in powerful, practical and cost-effective applications requires interdisciplinary knowledge that not only combines technical and medical knowledge, but also includes the life sciences. You will acquire this knowledge in our practice-oriented medical technology course, which we have designed in close cooperation with regional medical technology companies.

- 90% of study places are awarded via the university’s internal selection procedure with the following selection criteria:
  Average grade in the university entrance exam (HZB) - 75%
  Result of a selection interview – 25%
  Participation in the selection interview is entirely voluntary. You can increase your chances of gaining a place, but can never diminish them.
