    • 1. Requirements for the consecutive Master of Arts degree course in Social Work include: a first professionally qualifying degree obtained in a course in the subject area of Social Work (Bachelor of Arts/ Diploma degree) at a university in the Federal Republic of Germany or an equivalent academic degree at an international university, generally with proof of 210 ECTS points.

      2. Applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree with less than 210 ECTS points may be admitted in justified exceptional cases. The examination board will decide on the eligibility for admission and the conditions for enrolment in such cases. Applicants normally have to acquire the lacking ECTS points by providing proof of relevant practical work and/or completed additional modules before registration of the Master thesis.
