    • Target group Graduates from polyvalent Bachelor's degree courses in Psychology who commenced their degree course after 01.09.2020 and whose Bachelor's degree also meets the above-mentioned requirements can apply. Confirmation from the university that the Bachelor's degree course provides competencies from the core area of the degree course in accordance with the applicable medical practice regulations and meets the professional requirements in accordance with the German law on the profession of psychotherapist (PsychThG) is therefore required for an application.

    • 1. At least a six-semester Bachelor's degree course or equivalent certificate of academic degree in Psychology in the amount of at least 180 CP
      2. Proof of competencies (i.e. with an assignment to the core area of the degree programme) according to the applicable medical practice regulations (pursuant to
      Sections 7 and 9 of the German law on the profession of psychotherapist (PsychThG) as well as Appendix 1 of the German Medical Practice Regulations for Psychotherapists (PsychThApprO) of 04.03.2020 (Federal Law Gazette I p. 448))
      3. Confirmation of compliance with the professional requirements of the degree course (pursuant to Section 9 (4) PsychThG)
      4. Proof of at least 164 CP in the core area of Psychology
      5. Preliminary average or overall grade of 3.0 or better
      6. Proof of a minimum number of CPs in various psychological methodological and content areas
