    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution AN ELECTRIFIED FUTURE
Electrical engineering offers sustainable solutions to current challenges. As an electrical engineer, you will drive the key technical developments and thus secure the future! Because electrical engineering is so ubiquitous that we barely notice it any more. It can be found, for example, in smartphones, computer networks, electric cars, robots or even photovoltaic systems. Our lives are becoming increasingly digital and require efficient electrical devices that think along with us.

      What will you learn?

We will teach you the scientific basics such as engineering mathematics, physics and materials science in a practice-focused way. You will solve technical problems both independently and in a team.
      What will you learn?
You will immerse yourself in current topics such as robotics, biomedical and laser technology or sensor technology and communications technology. We will work together to develop energy-saving devices and connect them to the Internet of Things. In our laboratories you will research renewable energies, fast fibre optic networks, environmental measurement technology or electromobility.
This will help you in your studies.
We use maths as one of many tools. You should also:
      - have a high level of technical interest,
      - like to work on solving real, even tricky problems.

With this academic degree you will be very much in demand, as the energy transition in all its aspects needs many engineers. In this interdisciplinary degree course, you will be instructed by professors with many years of practical experience and will be prepared for jobs in technical development and research, production, marketing and distribution, consulting or technical management. You will work for:
Companies in the automation and electronics industry, automotive manufacturers and suppliers,
companies in electrical and communications engineering and robotics and development and research institutes.
