    Higher Probation and Administrative Service

  • Field of study
    • Target group Police officers in the upper grade of the Brandenburg state police force.
    • Main instruction language German
    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution No direct enrolment possible at the university. Recruitment to the career path of the senior police officer is required. Admission is possible for federal/other state police officers in conjunction with the respective employers, provided that places are available. In individual cases, it is possible to audit individual modules.
      This is a two-year full-time course (120 credits) with contact and self-study phases. Numerous courses are held online or in hybrid form to help students balance their studies with family commitments.

    • The successful completion of a professionally qualifying degree for the upper police enforcement service at bachelor's level comprising 180 credit points or a comparable degree at least at bachelor's level in a related scientific field in Germany or abroad or the successful completion of a diploma degree programme in a related scientific field, at least one year of relevant qualifying professional experience at the time of the start of the degree programme

    • Required practical experience In addition to completing your first university degree, you need the following practical experience to be admitted onto this degree programme:
      • 1 year Work experience in the field of Higher Law Enforcement Service
