    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Ziel des Studiengangs Anglistik ist es, fortgeschrittene sprachwissenschaftliche, literaturwissenschaftliche und kulturwissenschaftliche Kenntnisse sowie spezifische didaktische Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten und umfassende Kompetenzen im Bereich der wissenschaftlichen Methodik in den jeweiligen Fachgebieten zu vermitteln. Damit sollen die Studierenden die Fähigkeiten erwerben, die für die selbstständige Aneignung, Anwendung und kritische Bewertung sprachwissenschaftlicher, literaturwissenschaftlicher, kulturwissenschaftlicher und fachdidaktischer Modelle und Theorien erforderlich sind. Die Studierenden sollen befähigt werden, komplexe Fragestellungen eigenständig und kreativ zu analysieren sowie eigene wissenschaftliche Projekte zu planen, durchzuführen und zu bewerten.

    • For admission to the Master's degree programme, a Bachelor's degree course at a University or an academic qualification recognised as an equivalent is a requirement. The preceding studies must exhibit a specialisation profile that serves as a basis for admission to the chosen course of study. The decision on the fulfilment of the admission requirements for the Master's degree course as well as on exceptions will be made by the Examination Board. In addition, proof of the fulfilment of specific language requirements must be provided.
