    • Target group This master’s degree is aimed at people already working in the field of DaF/DaZ but do not yet have a university qualification as a teacher in the subject. Professionals from related fields in adult education or other educational institutions such as educators who wish to further their knowledge in the field of language development can also benefit from this course.

    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The 4-semester master's degree can also be studied on a career-integrated basis. The course content can be studied in a partial presence or online format.

      Application deadline for the winter semester is 15 July and the application deadline for the summer semester is 15 January.

    • Requirements for admission to the master's degree:
      - first vocational university degree (at least 180 credit points)
      - relevant professional experience of at least one year after the first degree (equivalent to 30 credit points)
      - applicants whose mother tongue is not German: advanced knowledge of German (TestDaF with at least TDN 4 in all areas or DSH-2 or Goethe Certificate C2)

      You can also apply if you do not have a degree but have at least three years of relevant professional experience and pass an aptitude test.
