    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution A unique aspect of Coburg University of Applied Sciences is the field of "Human-Oriented Architecture and Design/Psychological Aesthetics".
      This involves the influence of built spaces and design on people’s health and well-being. Psychological and multidisciplinary insights into the effects of architecture and design are integrated into the design process. An orientation of built environments around human needs is a central precondition for sustainability and social cohesion. Through the Institut Mensch & Ästhetik, this field is linked with health promotion at the University of Applied Sciences and with the University of Bamberg.

    • Admission semester winter semester
    • Graduates with a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Design or a closely-related subject area with a minimum standard period of study of 7 semesters, or 8 semesters in the case of Architecture, and an average grade of at least 2.5. Applicants must furthermore prove their competencies in social creativity and design responsibilities in a selection procedure.
      The aptitude test generally takes place in July. The date and format will be announced at the beginning of the application period.
