    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The aim of the 2-semester Master's degree programme in Textile Chain Research is to plan and carry out independent scientific research projects through research and development work in the fields of textile technology, the textile industry and the clothing trade, and to publish the results of these projects wherever possible. They learn to familiarise themselves methodically and systematically with new fields of knowledge.

    • The prerequisite is a qualified academic degree with at least a six semesters period of study in the subject areas
      - Business Administration including degree courses in Trade and Commerce, particularly International Fashion Business,
      - Textile Engineering, Textile or Clothing Technology and related degree programmes or
      - Mechanical Engineering, BEng, with a focus on Textile Machinery Construction or similar textile-related degree courses
      with a proven academic achievement of either 180, 210 or 240 ECTS points or comparable proof. Applicants with 180 ECTS points complete the two pre-semesters defined in the study and examination regulations of the degree course. Applicants with 210 ECTS points complete one pre-semester.

      English language skills of at least level B2 according to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

    • Completion of first university degree Bachelor/Bakkalaureus, Diplom, Diplom (FH)
      (and other qualifications, provided that they are recognised as being equivalent)

      Minimum requirements for first university degree:
      • Minimum number of semesters: 6 semesters

    • Required minimum language skills that must be proven by passing one or more of the following language tests:
      • Cambridge (English): mind. Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)
