    • Target group The teacher training-related Master's degree (grammar school level) is an option for students of the teacher training course (grammar school level) who are aiming for an additional or alternative degree. They can choose whether they take the Staatsexamen (state examination), choose the Master's degree or gain both qualifications. It should be noted, however, that in Bavaria admission to the preparatory stage of training is only possible with the First Staatsexamen. The Master's degree does not entitle students for admission to the preparatory stage for state schools in Bavaria.

    • Bachelor's degree certificate which was obtained as part of the Teaching Qualification course (grammar school level) with one of the subject combinations offered in the Master's course at the FAU, with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters or 180 ECTS points, or an equivalent qualification.
