Alternatively, the focus areas of environmental psychology/human-technology interaction, clinical neuroscience or cognitive neuroscience can be chosen.
All specialisation courses of the Master's degree programme in Psychology consist of a general part that is identical for all three specialisations and a specialisation-specific part. In the general part, in-depth knowledge in the fields of research methods, psychological diagnostics and clinical psychology is taught. The focus on environmental psychology/human-technology interaction deals with the interaction between people, the environment and technical systems as well as the effects of human behaviour on the environment. It aims to develop theory-based ways to promote environmentally friendly action and sustainable consumption. The focus on clinical neuroscience imparts knowledge and skills for the diagnosis, treatment and research of mental disorders as well as their neurological foundations.
