The minor subject of Philosophy at the Philipps University of Marburg gives you a deep insight into the fundamentals of philosophy. After a broad introduction to ethics, theoretical philosophy, history and logic, you can deepen areas of your choice, but also acquire knowledge about aesthetics or other disciplines of philosophy. Enlightenment as a project and the task of philosophy, in history as well as in the present, guides teaching. You should be able to independently diagnose fundamental problems close to and remote from the subject and demonstrate ways of possibly solving problems with the support of methodological arguments.
