    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution Allgemeines:
      Ziel des interdisziplinären Masterstudiengangs "Friedens- und Konfliktforschung" ist es, dir analytische und praktische Qualifikationen im Bereich der Friedens- und Konfliktforschung zu vermitteln. Dazu gehören insbesondere Fähigkeiten, Konflikte nach ihrem Gegenstand, ihrem Verlauf, ihren Ursachen und Akteuren analysieren und Perspektiven der Befriedung, Regelung oder Lösung von Konflikten entwickeln zu können. Inhalte des Studiengangs sind politische Konflikte in der Weltgesellschaft. In den Lehrveranstaltungen dominieren Methoden wie z.B. Rollen- und Planspiele, Szenarienentwicklung, Kleingruppenarbeiten, Workshops und Inszenierungen. Das Studienprogramm umfasst unter anderem ein internationales Praktikum, englischsprachige Veranstaltungen, interdisziplinäre Forschungsseminare und eine transdisziplinäre Übung zur Konfliktbearbeitung.

      Schwerpunkte:
      Ein besonderer inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt des Masterstudiengangs "Friedens- und Konfliktforschung" liegt auf der Bearbeitung und friedlichen Regelung von Konflikten.
      Im Mittelpunkt stehen potentiell gefährliche Konflikte, die in oder zwischen Staaten ausgetragen werden. Eine besondere Rolle spielt dabei die internationale und globale Umwelt dieser Konflikte.
