Then the dual study programme in Media Design is just right for you. In addition to analogue formats, digital creative processing and the transmission of information are increasingly important aspects of the job profile. That’s why your curriculum will include not only topics like the fundamentals of print and layout systems or print production, but also mobile media design and digital media formats. You will apply what you have learned directly with your practical training partner. After graduation, you can look forward to a career in agencies, at broadcasters, corporations, publishing houses – or as a freelance designer.
  
  Depending on the location, your studies will take place either through the traditional dual study model or the dual myStudium model. Both formats offer interactive learning materials and many additional benefits. In the dual study model, you will attend lectures on campus or virtually two days per week. In the dual myStudium at IU, you can also use our learning AI and deepen your knowledge in regularly held accompanying events.

  Without a school leaving certificate confirming general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, entry is possible if you meet one of the following conditions:
  
  - completed at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience in the profession you have trained in
  - successful passing of the Master Craftsperson’s examination
  - successful completion of a course as a state-certified Technician or state-certified Business Economist
