Scientific profile The Department of Biology at the University of Tübingen is one of the most research-intensive biological departments in Germany. Main research specialisations include Evolution and Ecology, Neurobiology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology of Plants as well as Molecular Cell Biology and Immunology. The profile is rounded off by the interfaculty specialisation "Ethics in the Life Sciences".
