    • Annotation of the Higher Education Institution The Master's programme "International Criminal Justice: Law, History, Politics" is a more research-oriented, interdisciplinary and internationally oriented course.
The international criminal justice system is a relatively new, innovative teaching and research field that has increasingly become the focus of academic training since the 1990s.
The aim of the course is to generate a comprehensive understanding of the international criminal justice system, its possibilities, mechanisms of action and limits, and thus to train qualified researchers and practitioners.

Students consider and investigate international crime or international crime as a legal, empirical and social phenomenon during their studies. In doing so, they acquire extensive knowledge of relevant historical and political developments and can contextualise them and their social impact, as well as explore the functional conditions of international criminal justice.

Special emphasis is placed on the international connectivity of the teaching content, which enables and encourages professional and research orientation across national borders.
