  proof of at least equivalent degree from a German university or a German university of applied sciences with a standard period of study of at least six semesters, which requires a good basic knowledge of Catholic theology, or
  - Proof of at least equivalent foreign degree in the same or related subject area with a standard period of study of at least six semesters, requiring a good basic knowledge of Catholic theology
