Access and Admission Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at the Goethe-Universität or at least an equivalent degree from a German university or University of Applied Sciences or a university abroad in Philosophy with a standard period of study of at least six semesters.
  Or a successfully completed Bachelor's examination in a particular subject and good fundamental knowledge of Philosophy (in accordance with §7 Para. 2, study regulations)
- Completion of first university degree Bachelor/Bakkalaureus
- Required language skills
- Required minimum language skills that must be proven by passing one or more of the following language tests:
  - GER (English): mind. B2
  - TOEFL IBT (English): mind. 87 Punkte
  - UNIcert (English): Stufe II
  - Other English language certificates: fünf Jahre Englischunterricht an einer Schule (letzte Zeugnisnote muss min. "ausreichend" sein)
