    • Admission to the Master’s course is granted to applicants with a completed 8-semester Bachelor’s course with History as a major subject at the Goethe University, or an equivalent degree course of at least 8 semesters at another research university in Germany. Language requirements: Latin (Latinum, Latin language examination), English (B2) and another foreign language relevant to the course of study (B1). Command of French is strongly recommended if the applicant wishes to specialise in the Ancient History of Ancient Greek.
